We, the Members, Staff and Organized Committees of ISHRAE, do hereby pledge:
- To always be in sync with the Mission & Vision Statements of ISHRAE, committed to the pursuit and dissemination of knowledge and work in the best interests of ISHRAE.
- That our thoughts, words & actions shall not besmirch the image and standing of ISHRAE.
- That we shall not permit the exploitation of the Society’s Forums for any Commercial or Personal gain.
- That we shall refrain from endorsing any Brand or Trade Name in any of the Society’s Forums, Publications and Merchandise.
- That we shall work and offer our Society’s products and services only in areas where our competency and expertise can satisfy the needs of the general public.
- That we shall remain transparent and honest regarding qualifications, experience & charges.
- That we shall honour all terms of engagement, in letter and spirit, whilst dealing with one another and in all activities we engage in as a Society.
- That we shall, at all times, respect the confidentiality of business affairs, propriety information, intellectual property, procedures and restricted Society discussions and materials.
- That we shall avoid real, or, perceived conflicts of interest whenever and wherever possible, and, disclose them to affected parties should they ever exist.
- That we shall always act with care, dignity and consideration - upholding all values of trust, teamwork, meritocracy and justice.
- That we shall always engage in all activities within the ambit of established prevailing statutes and shall remain compliant to all regulatory requirements.
- That we shall act responsibly towards the environment and work towards optimizing the use of all resources, conserve energy and strive to maintain the highest standards in public health, safety and welfare.
- That we shall always be mindful of the Indian philosophy of an interconnected world, which is part of a large global family –VasudhaivaKutumbakam, and jointly work with the International Community on global issues like Climate Change & Sustainable Development.
