Regal Beloit Corporation has acquired Nicotra Gebhardt Group on a worldwide basis. Regal Beloit, with a group turnover in excess of USD 3.5bn, is a leading manufacturer of electric motors, electric motion controls, power generation and power transmission products, serving markets throughout the world. They have been operating in India for many years as Marathon Electric Motors (India) Limited. Nicotra Gebhardt’s fan solutions are complementary to Regal Beloit’s motor business and their integration will enable them to offer wider and comprehensive energy effi ient fanmotor- control solutions. The Indian fan operations of Nicotra India Pvt. Ltd. shall continue to be a 50-50 joint venture between Nicotra Gebhardt Group and Caryaire Group. April 11 was the first day of Nicotra India’s operations as part of Regal Group.
