Grundfos India Promotes Energy Conservation
15 May 2014

Grundfos India is working towards helping Indian industries and corporates save energy and water through its energy efficient products and by conducting energy and water audits. These audits involve a system analysis of energy and water consumption. The audit team recommends the best solutions to right-size the systems. The company also contributes towards energy and water conservation by reducing its own impact on the environment. Its headquarters in Chennai is India’s first Gold rated green building (LEED certification by USGBC in 2005). Grundfos India’s factory also received the Gold certification in 2011 from the Indian Green Building Council (IGBC). In August 2013, the Grundfos office building was elevated to LEED EB Platinum. Recently Grundfos India and NDTV announced the launch of Mission Energy, a campaign to create awareness about the importance of saving energy and to provide energy conservation ideas. The campaign aims to draw attention to the power of individuals in creating a cleaner and greener future. Mission Energy is supported by AEEE as Energy Efficiency Partner and CII as Knowledge Partner.
