Ingersoll Rand has started a state-of-the-art Global Test Cell for centrifugal compressors for its customers, who can now witness compressor testing from their own location. The Live MIMIC and Real Time Data Capture record accurate data as high accuracy sensors and National Instruments cRIO hardware are installed in the Test Cell. Testing is done in an acoustic enclosure to ensure lower noise levels outside the test cell. Customers get a test certificate along with their machine images while the testing is in process.
