Kanwal Industrial Corporation (KIC), supplier of noise and vibration isolation products under the brand name ‘Easyflex’, has recently tied up with UK’s Zip Clip for the launch of their wire suspension systems in India. The systems will be marketed under the brand name ‘Easyflex-Zip Clip’. Wire suspension systems can replace threaded rods and can be used for suspension of HVAC, mechanical and electrical equipment. They offer many advantages such as a key free release system, ease of transportation and handling, and reduced labour cost and risk of injury. The tie-up also includes the introduction of seismic bracing systems that are designed and engineered to brace and secure non-structural equipment and services within a building or structure to minimise earthquake damage to suspended services. All the products are independently tested off-site and are NEL/TUV, MELBTEST, NATA, SATRA, Lloyds British, APAVE and SMACNA compliant. All the clips are UL certified. KIC will offer engineering support, including complimentary drawing and calculation service, and will work with clients to specify the best fixings for their particular requirements. KIC has recently set up a 20,000 sq ft production facility in Greater Noida for Easyflex-Zip Clip operations.
