Bitzer has announced the appointment of Patton Ltd. as its new distributor in India. Both companies will work closely together to further establish Bitzer’s quality and products in the country. Bitzer’s product line includes reciprocating, screw and scroll compressors, condensing units, ammonia compressor packs (ACPs) and heat exchangers suited for the Indian market. Patton Refrigeration India Pvt. Ltd. started its operations in India in 2007 and has a network of warehousing, offices and dealers. It provides solutions for industries like supermarkets, hotels, restaurants and fast food joints. Bitzer wants to introduce new products like Ecostar condensing units, ACPs and CSV compact screw compressors that offer high energy-efficiency and reliability. It provides customer support via its Green Point service network in India that repairs Bitzer compressors, delivers spare parts and conducts training sessions for customers. Bitzer is on-site in four major cities in India – Bengaluru, Delhi, Kolkata and Mumbai. The Bitzer Group is the world’s largest independent manufacturer of refrigeration compressors with sales companies and production sites for reciprocating, screw, and scroll compressors as well as heat exchangers and pressure vessels all over the world. In 2016, its 3,400 employees generated sales of €680 million.
