RCS has been awarded a contract for air conditioning and ventilation by New Holland Fiat (India) Pvt. Ltd. for their tractor manufacturing facility at Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh. New Holland Fiat (India) is a part of the Italian automotive major Fiat Industrial Group. They started manufacturing tractors in India in 1998, and the current expansion plans would take the capacity to 60,000 tractors per year. 

The project involves installation of an air cooling & ventilation system with a capacity of 21,00,000 m3/hr, at an investment of approximately INR 60 million. In addition to providing the system for a new state-of-art paint shop being installed by a German company, air cooling systems are also being installed to replace or upgrade the existing systems in other areas like old paint shop, before-paint, after-paint, drive line and sub-assembly areas. Other than weekly shut-downs, this manufacturing facility operates round the clock on a 3 shift basis. This offers the challenge to engineer the system in the existing operating areas, with all the constraints of installed utility systems. The site will have to be managed to maximize site activity during weekends and holidays, as work inside production sheds is not permitted during the week.
