The Harris Products Group is working with SAFE Refrigerations Pvt. Ltd. to manufacture its brazing rings in India. Harris will continue to cast and draw the alloys at its plant in Mason, Ohio, USA, and ship them to SAFE in India who will cut and form the alloy into brazing rings to meet the size and shape specifications of its customers.
SAFE’s Group employs about 150 employees in three manufacturing facilities located in Mumbai and Ahmedabad. The company also has sales offices in Mumbai,
New Delhi, Ahmedabad and Kolkata. The company’s production processes are certified to ISO 9001. SafeRef offers the portfolio of alloy products from Harris. SafeRef will also introduce two new product lines from Harris – flux-cored high silver alloys and ALUXCOR™ flux-cored aluminum brazing alloys and rings. ALUXCOR™ will be
offered in 4047 composition with four diffrent flux options as well as 98/2 and 78/22 zinc aluminum compositions with cesium flux. SafeRef is an international cooling technology company.
