VENTCONF is an International technical conference organised by the Delhi Chapter of ISHRAE, the premier society in India representing more than 10,000 professionals from 40 chapters and sub-chapters across the country and working in the field of HVAC&R. This annual Conference was started in 2011 as a one day conference and was attended by nearly 350 delegates with 12 technical papers from India and abroad. Ventconf is dedicated to the subject of Ventilation and has earned a reputation as the only conference in the world exclusively on Ventilation. The last VENTCONF held in 2013 in New Delhi, was attended by over 400 delegates and 12 technical papers were presented, almost half of them from international speakers. There was an interactive panel discussion on fire safety in buildings. The delegates represent a broad spectrum of the ventilation industry in the country - designers, manufacturers, contractors, architects, government departments, builders, academicians and service providers. Based on feedback from the participants, ISHRAE has decided to conduct Ventconf 2014 as a two day conference to give more time to speakers and to cover more topics in this vast subject. The theme of Ventconf 2014 is “Energy Efficient Ventilation for Sustainable Development” - focussing on energy efficiency, cleaner environment and healthy living. Prospective authors are invited to submit an abstract of their paper related to the topics listed below. The papers should present the latest trends in technology, systems and processes consistent with the theme of the conference.
