ISHRAE Mumbai Chapter introduces Orientation Course on HVAC for CAD operators. CAD operator wishing to build a career pertaining to the specialized field of HVAC, whether fresher or experienced, is welcome to sign up for this certification course. People from MEP design, Consultancy & contracting firm, involved in conceptual and detail designing will benefit from this course. Course Structure & Modules: The entire course is divided into 2 modules, each requiring 3 days. Post attending the second module, the candidate will need to appear for a test. The certification will be awarded to those who pass the test. Module – 1 : • Refreshing CAD fundamentals • HVAC basics • HVAC equipment & Systems • Understanding building structure • Planning & design development • Developing air distribution layout Module – 2 : • Understanding manufacturers GA drawings and O&M manuals • Plant room layout • AHU room layout • Piping network design development • Drawing preparations for the large projects Validity of Certification: Certificates are valid for 5 years. After this period, candidates will be eligible to retake the examination by paying the applicable fees. Candidates can take the Level 2 certification once they have been certified for Level 1.
