About Speaker Mr. Kanad Banerjee is one among very few IGSHPA® (International Ground Source Heat Pump Association in association with Oklahoma State University, USA) accredited professionals in India. He has a decade of rich experience in HVAC industry in diverse innovative technologies such as the Adiabatic & Hybrid evaporative cooling solutions and the Geothermal cooling solutions. In the past, he was associated with reputed firms like Nicotra-Gebhardt, Baltimore Aircoil Company and GIBSS. He is currently working with Armacell – Global leader in Thermal & Acoustic insulation solutions, as Key Account Manager for construction segment. During his tenure in GIBSS, he was leading national level teams to promote Geothermal Cooling Solutions in diverse industrial verticals such as Construction, Pharmaceutical, Automotive, IT, FMCG etc. Under his leadership, over 20 geothermal cooling projects were executed that collectively generated total savings of 19 million electrical units and 350 million litres of water. Looking at the socio-environmental impact, the geothermal cooling solution is recognized by bodies such as WWF, FICCI, Dept. of Science & Technology (Govt. of India).
