ISHRAE Mumbai Chapter in conjunction with CCSI has scheduled a "Technical Talk with Live Demo on HEPA Filter Leak Testing” on Wednesday 27th September 2017 during 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm for the benefit of its members. Topics of discussion: 1. What is a Filter Leak? 2. Why do we undertake on-site Integrity (Leak) Testing of HEPA Filters 3. International Standards for HEPA Filter Testing including latest ISO DIS 14644-3:2016 4. Equipment for HEPA Filter Testing – aerosol photometers, cold (Laskin nozzle) and hot (thermal) DOP/PAO aerosol generators 5. Repairs of Leaks and Report of Leak Test according to ISO/IEST standards 6. Live Demonstration of actual leak test with photometer and aerosol generator About The Speaker: Mr. SANT ADVANI Mr. Sant Advani is a graduate mechanical engineer from the University of Mysore and has over 45 years’ experience in the HVAC and Cleanroom Industry. Having worked in India & Abroad for 15 years. He set up a Contamination Control Company “Airtech” in 1984 and sold the same in 2011 to his staff. He now runs a contamination control advisory service focusing on Hospital Operation Theatres and sterile Pharmaceutical manufacturing, and conducts training programs on clean rooms. He is also a long standing member of ISHRAE, ASHRAE, ISPE (International Society for Pharmaceutical Engineering) & IEST (Institute of Environmental Science and Technology, USA). He is Hon. Secretary of Contamination Control Society of India. Mr. Sant Advani is an expert salsa & tango dancer and has won the Western Region Championship.
