One Day Learning Session Aims

• To introduce the concepts of product cooling and freezing requirements
• To enable participants to computer refrigeration heat load (hands on learning)
• To select and procure equipments appropriately
• To understand the infrastructure requirement required to set up a cold storage
• Understand the sequence of operation

About Faculty:

Mr Vikram Murthy : Bachelor of Technology in Electrical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, 1975, Experience of 40 years in the HVAC Industry .Worked in Voltas Ltd & Utility Engineers India Ltd in various positions upto Executive Vice President. Was Director Genpower Electric Pvt. Ltd, Nasik, Manufactured Fans and Blowers & Electrical Control Panels, Currently Director Univac Environment Systems Pvt. Ltd for Unitary and applied HVAC Products & Systems located at Mumbai. Trustee of Tropical Air conditioning & Refrigeration Institute, Mumbai, that imparts training in HVAC and Building Engineering Services for Graduating Students, Working Professionals and Corporates. Serves on ASHRAE Technical Committee TC 5.2 for Duct Design, and Government Advocacy Committee. He currently serves ISHRAE’s Marketing Committee, and Journal Committee. He is a Past President of ISHRAE Mumbai Chapter, ASHRAE Mumbai Chapter , the Rotary Club of Bombay Film City and past National Secretary of ISHRAE
