In a ceremony attended by over 200 guests, FRASCOLD inaugurated its new compressor manufacturing facility at Gallops Industrial Park in Ahmedabad on April 5.
FRASCOLD is one of the leading global compressor manufacturers for HVAC&R, based at Milan, Italy. It exports compressors to more than 86 countries. An eighty year old company, it started operations in India in 2012. The new factory is spread over 17,000 sq. ft. in a plot of 35,000 sq. ft. The new facility has double the capacity for condensing units than the previous one. The team has been strengthened to design and standardise screw and reciprocating compressor racks and screw condensing units with reduced lead time. The factory houses a training facility for refrigeration technicians. It is equipped with modern material handling and packing machines.
