The Competition was partnered by Daikin India. The first prize went to Praveen Kumar G. and Madeshwaran V. of Anna University, Chennai for ‘Enhancing
Rural Economy through Cascaded Energy Systems for Agro Products’. The runner-up was ‘A Small Scale Ripening Chamber for Retail and Consumer Applications’ by Harsh Shah and Kumar Shailendra Panda of Institute of Engineering and Management, Kolkata. The second runner-up award was shared by two posters. ‘Performance Comparison and Thermo-economic Analysis of Solar Powered Absorption Refrigeration System’ by Nishant Modi and Bhragav Pandya of Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University, Gandhinagar shared the honours with ‘CO2 System for Simultaneous Heating and Cooling Application’ by Guruchethan A. M., Dasi Koti and Simarpreet Singh of IIT Madras.
