A global student poster designvcompetition, powered by Daikin India, wasvone of the highlights of REFCOLD. Aboutv450 entries were received, of which 85vwere selected. Finally, the top 10 posters were shortlisted for display at REFCOLD India.

A. Ramchandar Raju, President of ISHRAE Deccan Chapter, was the competition chair. The distinguished jury consisted of Dr. R. Saravanan, Dr. Yash
Shukla, Harshal Surange, Kapil Bhatia, C. Subramaniam and N. S. Chandrasekar. Utpal Biswas is the National Student Chair.

The ultimate winners, announced during the Daikin product launch on November 21, were Ravi Prakash, Rekha Menon and Devaraj H. C. from National Dairy Research Institute, Bangalore for their poster ‘TiO2–CaCl2/Propylene Glycol-Ag + Nanofluid Based PCM for Rapid Chilling of Milk’. The first runners up were Samarpan Majumder and Sagnik Dutta from Institute of Engineering and Management, Kolkata. The second runners up were Nithin N. Raju and Alok Kumar from IIT Guwahati.
