Daikin India announced the launch of its refrigeration equipment range in India during a function on November 21. Kapil Bhatia from Daikin expressed the company’s plans to cover the entire cold chain and refrigeration sector in India through products sourced from Daikin’s international arms, viz. Daikin Refrigeration Malaysia (DRM), Zanotti,
Zeas, AHT (Europe), Hubbard Products, and J&E Hall (compressors). Andrew Bowden, MD of J&E Hall, introduced the company’s screw compressors under the HallScrew brand.

Danfoss India launched six products simultaneously at REFCOLD 2019. The products were launched at the hands of Arvind Surange, Senior Consultant for Cold Chain, in the presence of customers, Danfoss representatives and other industry dignitaries. The products launched are Danfoss Intelligent Purging System (IPS)/Air Purger; Danfoss Gas Detector; Danfoss Plate Heat Exchanger; EKE 400; IFCD Defrost Module; and ICSH 2 Step Solenoid Valve.

The Danfoss IPS is an automatic, self-contained operating unit that helps remove non-condensable gases in a safe, energy efficient and environmentally friendly way for industrial refrigeration systems.

The plug and play Danfoss Gas Detectors are based on a digital platform that delivers improved operational reliability, easy calibration and maintenance efficiency, cost effectiveness, and regulatory compliance for application in industrial refrigeration.

The semi-welded Danfoss Plate Heat Exchanger is optimized for industrial applications such as condensers, flooded and pumped evaporators, sub-coolers, desuperheaters, superheaters, economizers and oil coolers.

The EKE 400 is an application for industrial refrigeration that can control the operation of valves and fans for evaporators to achieve optimal cooling mode and defrost sequence.

The ICFD is a product specially designed to improve defrost performance and reduce energy consumption for industrial refrigeration applications.

The ICSH 2 Step Solenoid Valve for safe and soft gas injection is designed keeping in mind the safety risks involved in injecting hot gas into evaporators.

For food storage and milk market, itdisplayed NJX compressor, condensingunit with scroll, and a sliding unit.

For merchandisers, on display were EM2X, FFU and EMY compressors.

For the replacement market, Embraco displayed its robust standardised portfolio of compressors and condensing units, designed to meet capacities ranging from 1/12 to 1 ½ HP.

For the household segment, on display was FMX inverter compressor with a high built-in energy efficiency.

Panasonic Cold Chain Solutions announced its entry into the Indian market in a big way by participating for the first time in a major exhibition. It showcased its CO2 condensing unit for small format stores, inverter condensing unit with R404, beverage cooler, freezer showcases, open multideck showcase for supermarkets, cold roll box, coolant freezer and open showcase with air curtain.
