For those who came to REFCOLD in quest of knowledge, there was an extensive menu of seminars and workshops spread over three days. The seminars started with a presentation by A. Bhagwan – Director of Research, Sri Konda Laxman Telangana State Horticultural University – on ‘Road Map for Indian Horticulture – Opportunity for Collaboration and Growth’.

The workshop sessions began with the topic ‘Design of Data Mining, Tracking and Tracing Systems for Pharma Cold Chain’, conducted by S. K. Bose, MD – Carel ACR Systems India.

A Sino-India Cold Chain Forum was a part of the workshop schedule. Jenson Sebastian was the host, and Prof. Tian Chanqing was the co-host. C. Subramaniam made the opening speech, in which he emphasised that the collaboration between India and China has been mutually beneficial. Wang Congfei from China Association of Refrigeration (CAR) thanked ISHRAE for the ongoing collaboration. Prof. Tian Chanqing made a presentation on the cold chain infrastructure in China. M. S. Manjunath spoke about innovations  in cold chain transportation. Wen Zhihan of Fujian Snowman and Chen Baoshuang werethe other speakers.
