The motor and fan manufacturer Ziehl-Abegg has reported another year of higher than average growth; the company increased sales by 8.1 percent to EUR 583 million
(provisional figures), compared with EUR 540 million in the previous year. The growth is being driven mainly by the fan business. The company, based in Southern Germany, has achieved this growth organically, without any acquisitions. The commencement of in-house composite material production in the Hohenlohe Business Park (Germany) represents a milestone in the company’s history. Sophisticated tools enable it to achieve complex geometries in synthetic material fans. Ziehl-Abegg offers three technologies in-house – steel, aluminium and composite material.
