IIAR Plans Chapters in India
25 June 2015

International Institute of Ammonia Refrigeration (IIAR) promotes the safe use of ammonia and other natural refrigerants through education, information, and standards. IIAR members include industrial refrigeration end users, many of whom are food processing companies, beverage producers, cold storage operators, ammonia refrigeration contractors, engineers, component manufacturers, suppliers and academics. IIAR holds an annual Industrial Refrigeration Conference & Exhibition, the largest event dedicated exclusively to industrial refrigeration. The event includes technical paper presentations, panel discussions and forums. The next IIAR Conference is scheduled from March 20 to 23, 2016, in Orlando, Florida, USA. IIAR publications focus on training, system design standards, piping guidelines and operating and maintenance guidelines. Its Condensor magazine contains various new developments and information from round the globe. Its website houses the largest industrial refrigeration on-line technical library containing more than 400 technical papers and publications that are available to IIAR members. IIAR has initiated the formation of its Indian chapters, with the opening of its maiden chapter in Pune, with Samir Shah (samir@metalexgroup.com) as Regional Vice Chair, India. The next few IIAR chapters are intended to be formed in major metro cities. For more information, please visit www.iiar.org
