Unilab Smart-Air is an advanced software for HVAC companies who manufacture or sell air handling units. It reduces the lead time from acquiring an order to its manufacturing. Its graphical interface allows a quick selection of standard units previously uploaded in the database. This software can be used for generation of offers. Once the offer is created, the software provides several outputs to help design the unit, which can be sent to the Production Department and to the Computerised Numerically Controlled (CNC) machines. The software selects the correct size according to the air flow and face velocity, selects the components (coils, filters, fans, etc.), provides the gross price, dimensions and weight and generates a commercial offer quickly. For manufacturing, it generates complete detailed information and produces a schematic drawing in 3D, provides documentation (DWG, DXF, STL and STEP formats, cuts list of tamponages, profiles and panels) necessary to build the units. It provides technical drawings of profiles, omega, panels, tamponages and the basement according to real conditions. The software is widely used by AHU manufacturers for getting certifications of mechanical performance, ratings and performance of units components or sections from agencies like AHRI and EUROVENT.
