Zeco Aircon Limited, based at Bahadurgarh, Haryana has won a prestigious award for Community Development during the Global CSR Excellence Awards function in Mumbai. A number of Indian and multinational companies were acknowledged for their contribution in the field of CSR during
the ceremony. Zeco has undertaken, directly or through charitable trusts, many projects for welfare and upliftment of the needy. It has provided drinking water to more than 250 households, organised free eye check-up camps and blood donation camps, and built sewerage systems and public toilets.
Some of the other corporates to receive the awards were Wipro, NTPC, Tata Sons and Hero MotoCorp.
