As HVAC Engineers we, specify, order, install and maintain filters on regular basis. Little do we understand about its nomenclature, grades, type and testing methods. Filtration efficiency, flow rate, pressure drop are the important criteria that one needs to keep in mind while selecting the filters. They play important role in Air conditioning equipment performance. The Total Life Cycle Cost - Energy, Maintenance, Replacement and Disposal is rarely evaluated while selecting the filtration scheme. ASHRAE Mumbai Chapter along with ISHRAE Mumbai & Thane, Chapter, invites you on 22nd Aug. 2017, from 6.00 PM to 8.00 PM for a Tech Talk on Filters and Filtration. The program will have presentation on the Filter Classifications, Comparison of different nomenclature, Types of Filters, Testing Methodologies, Selection and Life Cost Analysis.
