The defining feature of the 20th edition of ACREX India in 2019 was the focusing of global attention on the fast growing Indian HVAC&R market. Now in its 29th year, the event brought together on its platform the heads and senior officials of several industry associations like Sheila Hayter – ASHRAE President, Frank Hovorka – President-Elect, Federation of European Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning Associations (REHVA), and Prof. Jin Jiawei – President of Chinese Association of Refrigeration (CAR). The number of international exhibitors soared up to 142. Organised by ISHRAE at Bombay Convention and Exhibition Centre (BCEC) from February 28 to March 2, produced by NürnbergMesse and endorsed by ASHRAE, ACREX 2019 showcased the state of the art of the industry for the entire world to view and admire. Under the umbrella of Build Fair Alliance (bfa) forged two years back at the initiative of ISHRAE, ACREX 2019 was one of the three giant events held simultaneously at the same venue – the other two being ISH India powered by Indian Plumbing Association (IPA), and Fire and Security India Expo (FSIE) organised by Fire and Security Association of India (FSAI).
