DRI Launches the Latest in Chilled Beams
15 May 2014

Desiccant Rotors International (DRI), a global supplier of components and systems for energy recovery, indoor air quality, fresh air treatment, evaporative cooling, desiccant dehumidification and Green buildings, has launched a range of chilled beams developed in Asia for Asia and high humid areas around the world. Maija Virta from Finland, an international HVAC expert with two decades of strong application experience globally for chilled beams, has been a core member of the development team. DSP, Germany, a third party independent test lab for Eurovent certification for chilled beams, has helped set up a state-of-art test facility for rating the chilled beams. Christened Ecobeam series, these beams will need to be coupled with good dedicated outdoor air systems, particularly in the tropical and high humidity parts of the world. The combination of the nozzle and venturi design is a key factor for a good chilled beam with high induction ratios
