Greenheck India Rolls out ‘Serve to Save’ in Mumbai

On November 30, Greenheck India Pvt. Ltd. held its second Serve to Save Summit, this time at Hotel Westin in Mumbai. The objective of the summit was to discuss the importance of protecting building occupants from injury, preventing loss of life using quality fire safety products, education on the value of proper system design and the role of third-party certifying organizations. Akash Deep Agarwal, country manager at Greenheck India, kicked off the Summit, expressing Greenheck’s vision to look towards saving the society as a whole. This was followed by a panel discussion, in which the exchange of views involved sharing the perspectives of key industry influencers on topics such as third-party certification. Pallab Kar, national sales manager – Greenheck India moderated the panel discussion and elicited perspectives about third-party certifi cation from each panellist. His questions helped to establish a relationship between the panel and the audience.


K. Ramachandran, director of Eskayem Consultants, was a key panellist who supported Greenheck’s advocacy of relying on third-party bodies for verifying and assuring product performance. The dialog sparked participation among the audience and created enthusiasm for further discussion. Other panellists in the Summit were M.V. Deshmukh – director, government affairs at Fire Safe India Foundation and president, National Association of Fire Officers (NAFO), S. S. Warick, CFO and fire advisor – MIDC, Ajaz Kazi, project director at Voltas, Rajiv Batura, senior vice president at Omkar Developers and Akash Deep Agarwal.


More than 35 HVAC consultants, contractors and sales engineers from Mumbai and nearby locations attended the summit. Greenheck India will continue to be actively involved in this initiative to ensure that awareness is spread throughout India in order to improve the quality of life for all.
