Johnson Controls-Hitachi Air Conditioning India Ltd. has won the Copper Excellence Award 2018 in Market Transformation category, for providing reliable and
energy efficient room air conditioners using 100% copper tubes.

The Awards were presented at the 4th edition of the India Copper Forum (ICF) New Delhi on October 24. The event was hosted by International Copper Association India (ICA India), in association with Hindalco Industries and Vedanta. The guest of honour, Jorge Juan Castaneda Mendez, Ambassador
of the Republic of Peru, presented the awards. (Peru has the 3rd largest reserve of Copper in the world.) This was the second award of the month for Hitachi, after Frost & Sullivan’s Smart Air Conditioner Company of the Year Award 2018.

ICF is the largest non-commercial platform for the copper industry for sharing views on emerging trends, challenges and solutions. The aim of the forum is to empower members of the copper industry to voice their opinions and bring forth ideas and innovations that will take the country forward.
