Savitru Aircon Pvt. Ltd., a part of Cosmos Group of Companies, has introduced pre-insulated mineral wool ducting panels under the brand name Ursa from Uralita Group of Spain. The product was launched during ACREX 2015 at Bangalore. The panels are available in 25 and 40mm thickness with two distinct finishes: aluminium-aluminium suitable for commercial applications, and aluminium-zero fabric for low noise applications. They have high thermal resistance, acoustical absorption and fire performance. Antimicrobial treatment on the inner surface promotes good Indoor air quality. They can be fabricated relatively easily with minimum accessories. Training on fabrication methods and standards is being provided to installers to ensure quality work at site.
