REFCOLD India 2019 – Cold Comfort
Refrigeration preserves nourishment, adds value to agriculture and extends healthcare services for humanity. The practice of refrigeration has historically provided an essential service for communities across the diverse fabric of India and will increasingly continue to enhance the lives of many. The Indian refrigeration industry is historically older than air conditioning. It has progressed remarkably with local innovation, and the presence of a large number of international companies manufacturing in India.

Indian Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air Conditioning Engineers (ISHRAE) along with Nürnberg Messe is delighted to present REFCOLD India 2019, a unique exhibition on refrigeration and the cold chain that will drive innovation, efficiency and standards for the industry in India. Energy efficiency and sustainable products are the focus of all exhibitors. They shall be particularly at display at REFCOLD India 2019, as will be renewable energy that can continually power cold stores in remote areas using electrical and thermal storage banks.

Two big draws at the exhibition will be the REFCOLD India Emerson Awards for innovative and outstanding energy efficient projects and products in the cold chain and refrigeration industry – partnered by Emerson; and the International Students’ Poster Competition partnered by Daikin that attracts hundreds of entries both from India and overseas – the best of which shall be on display.

REFCOLD India 2019 is supported by Central Government institutions including National Horticulture Board (NHB) and National Centre for Cold Chain Development (NCCD), and several Departments of Telangana State. REFCOLD India is the Mecca of Refrigeration for all stakeholders, and shall develop the cold chain business significantly. It will drive consequent improvement of agriculture and healthcare across India.
